Paris at night

ParisPrint3ResizedParisPrintResized2parisprintRESIZED1
I love these three illustrations of Paris at night, which I want to hang on my wall right now. One thing that stands out to me about these pictures is the lit windows. When I drive through big cities and see rows of windows lit up in big apartment buildings, I always wonder about the people inside, who they are and how they spend their time. It's amazing to think about the billions of people in the world, all under the same sky, looking up at the same stars every night.

I've always been drawn to art that depicts the night, such as van Gogh's ever famous "Starry Night" (which is pretty much everyone's favorite painting ever, am I right?). I think I am drawn to pictures of night skies, because I feel much more alive at night than in the morning. (I am so not a morning person.) Also, in the day, there is only one bright light shining, but at night, there are thousands of tiny lights illuminating the sky, which, I think, is in many ways more beautiful.

  4. I love and miss the big city at night time, especially in winter. When there is a cold chill in the air, I like walking around and being one of the many people buzzing around. It feels like there is magic in the air. Making me wish I lived in a bigger city again xx

  5. I don`t like night but I love sky. The tower and the stars look so dreamy. They are so pure that like works form children` hand.
