Ballet books

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
I keep an ever growing stack of books about ballet on my nightstand, and lately, one of my favorite things to do at the end of the day is turn on a lamp and curl up and read and read and read. My favorite ballet books of the moment are Apollo's Angels and The Ballet Companion.

If you are a dancer, do you like to read about ballet technique and ballet history? I'm curious! And if you are not a dancer, are you reading anything good right now, ballet related or not? Please, do share!

  1. I have Apollo's Angels on my Amazon wish list! I am glad to hear it is a favorite. Maybe I will put it on my library list instead...My favorite ballet is probably "The Ballet Book" by Nancy Ellison. Beautiful pictures.

    1. Thanks for the recommendation. I just searched the online catalog, and my local library has a copy! When I return Apollo's Angels, I'm totally checking out The Ballet Book. :)

  4. I love the Ballet Companion, such a great all-around read. And 100 Lessons... I don't know why, I just love it. Apollo's Angels is on my list of want-to-reads, just haven't gotten to it yet. Soon!
