I don't only love ballet for the tutus. There is also the dancing! (I do love tutus a lot, though.) Sadly, tutus are strictly for rehearsals and performances, which means I can't wear tutus to my regular classes--what gives, ballet teachers?--but on the bright side, everyday ballet clothes are pretty, too. For instance, how charming is this ballet skirt? Would you wear polka dots to ballet class? I totally would!

ReplyDeletei love that you dance ballet. i was a ballet dancer until about high school.. i would looooove to take an adult beginner class and get myself a new pair of pink toe shoes.. until then, i will vicariously live through you and your polka dot skirt (which by the way is adorable)
ReplyDeleteI quit ballet when I was 7, sadly...I don't like to regret things, but quitting dance is kind of a regret of mine. I think if I would have known about the tutu possibilities, I Might have made a different choice =] Love the polka dots!
ReplyDeleteCute! I would and do wear polka dots to class. I have a navy with white polka cotton cropped warm up top that I wear with my navy leotard. I love it.
ReplyDeleteI totally would! I used to own a gorgeous red and white not-quite-but-almost polka dot skirt which was seriously the most beautiful ballet garment I have ever owned. Then I gave up wearing skirts in favour of shorts as I spent too much time faffing with skirts but I could probably convince myself to do an about turn for a polka dot... hmm!
