First day of autumn

Today is the first day of autumn. I was reluctant to welcome this season at first, but Damian and I have had the air off and the windows open all week long, which makes our home feel so breezy and natural. Autumn is definitely growing on me. I guess I shouldn't blame the dark and cold winter on the bright and cool autumn. Let's all eat caramel apples and jump into piles of leaves. I'm ready.

  1. Man, I've been missing autumn lately...that's really the only season I miss now that I live in LA. We're having a major heat wave here, so I could really use some chilly afternoons and colorful leaves!

    1. Aw, bummer! But when I am shivering and complaining in January, you can be all like, "Ha! Ha! I live in the land of eternal warm weather!" :)

    1. Oh, no, I only wish I could take pictures like that! And the trees are still pretty green around here. Hopefully the turning will start soon. :)

  8. Lovely photos! We're well and truly into spring down in the Southern Hemisphere, which means we alternate between wildly windy, rainy days and gorgeous clear skies. I think Autumn has to be one of my favourite seasons though - love the photos too.
