I haven't written a weekend post in many months, which is weird, because weekend posts are fun. I simply search for a picture that I feel perfectly encapsulates the essence of the weekend, and then I type, "Hey, you! Yeah, you! Hope you have a spectacular weekend!" Then I go about the business of my own weekend. This is probably lazy posting and a bad habit but nonetheless: I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Go hang upside down or something.

I haven't climbed on the monkey bars in forever!! :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't, either, but we should. We totally should. Let's go do it! :)
DeleteThe specific purpose of an inversion table is to securely hold you upside down in the hopes of relieving your back pain. If you do not handle the inversion table correctly, however, it can lead to serious injuries. Thanks a lot.
DeleteClimbing on monkey bars as an adult is very humbling. The reality of how my body mass had increased and my upper body strength has decreased is very apparent:)
ReplyDeleteHa! You know...you are absolutely right. It sounds fun in theory, but I'm pretty sure the last time I tried to mess around on the monkey bars, I ended up feeling weak and uncoordinated. And unusually tall. :)
DeleteThis picture is taking me back.. okay, not to my childhood like you would think, but back to the myspace days (yes, I know). I used to have this picture that I took upside down and it was always my profile page. I thought I was just so cool (clearly). ANYWAY, I got your comment - it's cool that we are so close in age! I think Arizona must have cut the birthday mark to enter school much earlier than some places. Weird how that is not standard...
ReplyDeleteOh, Myspace. Those were the days. I think I remember downloading a free coffee shop background. And I thought I was just the coolest. :)
DeleteYes, we are super close in age! Crazy. I was homeschooled in Kindergarten, and I think I started either the day or the day after I turned five. Then I went to public school in first grade and everyone was 6 turning 7 not 5 turning 6, and I remember thinking, Whoa, this is weird, and feeling really young. But I like to think I turned out okay in the end. : )
I think I just might go do this literally (hang upside down) maybe then it'll keep this baby that is due in three weeks but seems to want to come out NOW will stay in me a bit longer lol.
ReplyDeleteYou've got such a cute blog...so glad I stumbled on it! :-)

Oh goodness, if the doctor asks, you didn't get that advice from me!!! Just kidding, your comment made me laugh. And congrats on your baby.
DeleteThanks for the sweet words. Your blog looks really fun. :)
