Dippy the dinosaur

Photobucket Photobucket Untitled
Last Sunday, my family celebrated my nephew Isaac's fifth birthday--he's a whole hand old now, not just fingers anymore!--and keeping with the dinosaur theme, Isaac's mom (my sister Cara) ordered a Dippy the dinosaur cake from Shelly's Sweet Delights. It was adorable and delicious and everyone was crazy about it. After Isaac blew out his candles, he did not hesitate to promptly bite off Dippy's head. Bye bye, Dippy. You were loved.   Photobucket

  3. What an awesome cake! Many years ago my brother had a triceratops cake for his 7th birthday - I can't remember if the head was eaten first, but as it was made of chocolate fudge it probably was!
