We can't seem to get enough of billy balls around here. Lizzie recently mentioned she would like to incorporate these quirky flowers into one of the focal points of any wedding: the cake! I'm wondering how baby's breath or various autumn colored flowers might look paired with the billy balls, either cascading down the cake or dotted strategically throughout the tiers. Either way, I think this might be my favorite billy ball post yet, as I've always held a special place in my heart for cake. ;)

I like the first cake the best! It reminds me of the game Candy Land and I find it pleasing :)

ReplyDeleteMy most favorite it probably the second one. My least the third {the billy balls just look to random}. I love the added texture and color that the raspberries and artichoke add to the last one! But...Is it weird that there are artichokes on a cake? Lol!

ReplyDeleteTo me, it seems like baby's breath will blend in with the cake, especially if the cake is white. Not sure it would look good either.
I love the last one, with the billy balls, raspberries, and artichokes... what a lovely variety of colors!

ReplyDeleteI'm helping my sister plan her wedding, too. Now that the Save the Dates are done, my big project is the wedding website. I'm sure my blog will get a glimpse of it later this week when I actually have time to work on it.
